2010 Indianapolis Marathon Training Recap ...

This time tomorrow I will be toeing the line at the 2010 Indianapolis Marathon. Getting to this point was a journey in and of itself, one that started back on June 7th. Since then ...

I have run a total of 758.99 miles
(9.99 miles more than what my schedule called for),

at an average pace of 10:05 mile,
for a total of approximately 127 hours and 40 minutes,

which is 5 day, 8 hours and 40 minutes of running,
just to get one of these ...

A FINISHED TRAINING PLAN.

19 weeks of training. 5 runs per week. 3 new PRs.
0 injuries. 1000s of laughs.

26.2 - YOU ARE MINE.

Wonderful post! It truly shows how ready you are. I so wish I could be there to cheer you on and see your smiling elated face cross that finish line.
You are an inspiration to so many young runners. Teaching by example on what you should and shouldn't do! Congratulations on an amazing journey to your first REAL marathon. No injuries, no excuses, no problem. This day will be yours. Thanks for taking me along for the ride.
I want an invite to the celebration party!
