Dear Croup,
While I can understand why you want to visit my awesome family, I am pretty sure I never invited you into my house. And if I did, you most definitely did not RSVP. Due to your rudeness alone, I am going to have to ask you to vacate the premises immediately.
Now don't get me wrong, I am sure you're nothing like the Bat/Pig Flu or the Plague, but I am also sure that I never needed to hear the sound of my child gasping for air or barking like a seal. You haven't made a good first impression and I suggest you get out before you face the wrath of an angry mother.
Oh, and while you're at it, please tell your friends UTI and Strep to hightail it out of here too. Thanks in advance for your understanding.
Goodbye and good riddance,
TMB and her three sick children
That is horrible! hoping that the kiddos feel better soon! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI hate croup. Shoo used to get it all.the.time. Hope everyone feels better quickly!
ReplyDeleteOh, girl... I feel ya. I thought Paige had croup week before last, turned out it was walking pneumonia. And this week Lily wakes up with cough and fever... Yep, same thing. I do not do well caged at home. Cause like you, my hubs is out of town a lot... I so feel your pain. I'm sorry. Hope all the girls get well soon.
ReplyDeletePraying for all three to LEAVE and NEVER return.

ReplyDeleteOh no! I hope it leaves swiftly. Our little guy had croup & really reacted to the swollen windpipe - turned blue w/ lack of O2 and we spent the night at Children's Hosp. Hope y'all fare much better.
ReplyDeleteCroup sucks! My son is prone to it but the first time he got it we were on a trip (ran a 1/2 mary and sang in a concert) and ended up frantically driving a gasping, barking baby to the childrens' hospital in the middle of the night.
ReplyDeleteNow we know the signs and symptoms and managed to stop it in its tracks when he gets it - holding him in front of the freezer's cold air and getting steroids at the doc in the morning. :(
Hope your babies are better soon!
That croupy cough always scares me :(
ReplyDeleteHope good health finds your house soon!
Oh my word!! Praying you all feel healthy soon!
ReplyDeleteCroup is no fun! Hope everyone is well by now!
