I'm just going to recommend avoiding me at all costs ...
Brightside - Now that I got that funk out of my system (OK, not really, I'm just going to pretend like I'm chill), I'm going to remind myself of the good things. Like the fact that we leave for Disney in eight days. And that J threw me a 30th birthday party last weekend and I pigged out on these chocolate dipped marshmallows that my sister, Angie Pants, made ...

And that my post from yesterday seems to have convinced my sister, G, that she can in fact run a 10 miler. Eventually. Oh, and did I mention that we are leaving for Disney in eight days? (race costume is EPIC by the way).
Nuun - In other positive news, I have been invited to continue to serve as a Nuun Ambassador for 2012. Considering my (and my family's) Nuun obsession, it's really the perfect fit. So expect some serious Nuun love around these parts.
And speaking of Nuun, yesterday morning at dropoff, the girls spotted this ...

Dizzle immediately said, "Mom, look it's a giant tube of Nuun. Can you imagine how big the waterbottle would have to be?"
Yes, people, I have brainwashed my children with all things endurance.

LMAO at Dizzle!
And I'm even more bummed now that I couldn't make it down. Sounds like it was an awesome party!
Can't wait to see you at the end of April!
Hilarious... It would have to be biggest bottle of water EVER! :)
Hey! Just started a pregnant running blog this week, and I've always enjoyed drawing inspiration from your story/blog, so I'd love to have you follow me at thepregnantrunner.blogspot.com
Check it out if you have some time! Thanks! And I love the giant tube of Nuun. So perfect. My kids think that every time we drive to a strip mall, we are going to a running store. :)
Those cte little marshmallow pops of yumminess are amazing!!!
Sorry about the crappy day and random flat tire. :( Today will be better....
I've been having craptastic issues too, so at least you're not alone in your misery. Not that that helps at all.
Those marshmallows are amazing looking.
Welcome to Half-Ironman training. All that stuff before hand was nothing compared to the irritability that will strike. My prescription for these things: NAP.
That is the only thing that will take care of it. Food won't. Rest won't. Reading won't. Sleep in the form of a 1 hour MAX NAP, then you'll be good to go.
Hilarious!! I hope your craptastic day gets better!!!
I am bike stupid but why does it matter if your tire is flat if the bike is on a trainer? (secretly I'm glad you missed 40 miles because your overall mileage makes me feel lazy!!)
Disney again so soon. You are just trying to make me jealous now! ugh! And chocolate marshmallows too.
And now your a Nuun Ambassador...even your "carp" days seem enviable!!
;-) Have a great weekend.
All I can focus on is those incredible marshmallow pops! Gotta smile thinking of those, right?
:)
I hope I see you in WDW! Hilarious aboutt he nuun. They sent our teama bunch of stuff for our ultra relay last weekend and a bunch of samples to hand out. peopel kept coming up to our van and calling us the "nuun girls" it was fun!
How does that happen? I guess a flat can happen anywhere! Glad things got better! So funny about the nuun tube...
Love the Nunn comment!
Those marshmallows look great.
Craptastic.That's Classic.
Disney in 8 days. And, a big old piece of chocolate cake!
Winks & Smiles,
