I kicked a** for 20 miles ...

Remember that 20 miler I might have mentioned once, twice or 800 times? Well, we rocked it. It was pretty much the ideal 20 miler that I had in my head before the last attempt two weeks ago. The weather cooperated. The route was awesome. We averaged just above race pace (a VERY good sign about race day) And I never felt like quitting. Not even once. Not even for one second. It was pretty much perfect. (And the ankle was 100% fine!)

(OK, maybe there was one second of suckage. But it was in the first mile. And involved unruly undergarments. And I took care of that real quick.)

But seriously, this was exactly the run I needed to get me excited about the race and to realize that WE CAN TOTALLY DO THIS!

SOOO COOL!! Way to go buddy. That is the best case scenario with your race coming.. Confidence booster for sure..

I'm a mom and a runner too and I am so excited to find another mom/runner's blog! Yay for you on the 20 miles! When is your race?

I'm running a half marathon in Nov and am so nervous/excited! it's my first big race like that. I ran 13 yesterday ,but I can't wait to do 20 like you! Woman like you make me think it can be done! thanks for the encouragement! Have a great day! bye!

I am always freezing and Muscle Man is always hot. You should see our bed... He will have no covers and I will have 3 layers...

I am always bundled up and he hardly EVER even wears a coat.. Must be nice to be TOUGH!!..
