food for thought ...

Yesterday afternoon, I was reading the absolutely hysterical blog, If I can't convince you - - I'll at least confuse you, authored by Emz. She posted a challenge to her readers, I'll show you mine FIRST. Will you show me yours?

Never one to say no to a challenge, I whipped out my camera. And here it is ...

Obviously, I live in a house with small children. 101 alphabet magnets. Photos. And Polly Pockets (sitting on top). But those, two pieces of paper on the front - My current training plan and J's. We are a family on a fitness mission.

OK. I've shown you mine. Will you show me yours?

Go. Grab your camera.

Open your fridge door and take TWO pictures. One of the inside ...

And one of the door ...

No tidying. No cleaning. No hiding any guilty pleasures ...

Then, mention the following:
  • A few things you like in there: CHOBANI!! In addition to that box, there are another 10 hidden behind things. Banana peppers - I can eat them right out of the jar. Strawberries - mixed in Chobani with a half cup of Wheaties Fuel. Yumtastic!

  • What you can't live without: Chobani Greek Yogurt (obviously), milk (I am a cereal addict), hot sauce (it goes on EVERYTHING),

  • What you should live without that is currently in there: The condiments. Most of them are past their expiration.

  • What you wish were in it: Blue cheese, sauteed onions and diced apples. I really feel like having a turkey burger topped with all of that ...
Well? What are you waiting for? Go take your pictures. And while I am bossing you around, don't forget to enter my Whooha Gear Giveaway. It ends tonight!

All I noticed was the large amount of milk. My fiance would be in heaven!

Oh, and I have a new giveaway up. :-)

Wow! Do you ever have a lot of milk! What are your favorite cereals?

I'll do this tonight....but it's not nearly as tidy. My husband doesn't know what a sponge is.

I guess everyone noticed the same thing I did...you should invest in a cow! We also buy a lot of milk since the older boys drink 2%, baby drinks whole, my hubby and I drink nonfat, and I also like soy milk. I will have to ponder that refrigerator challenge.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, I also LOVE Chobani...thank goodness Costco sells it!

totally forgot to snap a pic last night! Thanks for the reminder. WEill try to get on it tonight.

Wowzers, that's a lot of milk! Hubs and I can barely finish a 1L container before it expires. (we both eat cereal but during the week we use milk from work!)

Fun idea! I'll do this later tonight. :)

Milk! I'm a cereal addict too! My hubby and I always have at least 5 boxes in our pantry. :)
And I'm glad I'm not the only one that puts bread items in the fridge...some of my friends think that's weird. But it keeps the bread fresh! Fun challenge!

Oh, gosh, I just can't do it! Mine is a mess!

Hahaha! We have at least two galloons of non-fat milk in our fridge all the time, too! Along with the same non-fat creamer :)
I have to admit - I literally (on Monday) just cleaned out my fridge because it was driving me nucking-futs! It actually looks quite sad and empty now, but I will totally join you in this - I'm out of ideas for posting ;)

Have a great weekend girlie!!!

That is fun. I will need to do that later. The front of my fridge looks the same with all the letters.

Stop by my blog later today to see just how different mine looks LOL.

Do you guys really drink that much milk? Wow!

Your letters are very organized. Ours are scattered on both sides of the fridge and the floor lol

Looks like there's no lactose intolerance in your household. You obviously believe in supporting the country's dairy industry.

Holy cow (pun intended) look at all that milk!

Cute idea!! I did it too. I am sucker for challenges too :)

Great idea!

I am amazed at how neat those letters are on your fridge! Everytime I attempt to organize them, BW swipes them off in the floor!

I'm eating greek yogurt right now :) And holy food! I would be embarrased to show the nothing-ness in my fridge right now.

I love this!

When I get back to PA I'll have to join in but while in VA it would be a boring photo shoot. The fridge door is completely bare (boring!) and the fridge is nearly empty. Well, there are frozen pizzas in the freezer. Men! Hubbs idea of cooking through the week when I'm not here.

I love this idea! MIne is so completely obvious that it belongs to single girls (wedding invitations, bridal shower invites, pics on front, nothing inside) haha.

I'm in love with hot sauce and hot peppers -- but can't enjoy them like I use to after I took up running. It just doesn't mix for me. Don't you get tummy problems?!
