Disclaimer: If you have a weak stomach, you may want to skip this post all together. Don't say I didn't warn you ...
Note to self:
A: Do not allow your three-year-old to ingest 12 or more ounces of Egg Nog while shopping at BJ's.
B: Do not tell your child to "deal with it" when she says, "Mom, my tummy hurts. And it hurts more when you push on it."
C: ALWAYS have an extra box of baking soda on hand, because y0u never know when ignoring A and B will lead to this ...
Thanks Doodle. At least you kept most of it on the hardwoods ...

OK, you should've have had a warning in the title...Just had lunch...and somehow my tummy hurts a bit now. ;)
oops. live and learn.
I used to love egg nog.
Oh i feel your pain. Literally. I hope she feels better soon!
Making memories!
eek!
Oh boy do I feel for you!!!!
Oh no! At least you now know what not to do.
Oh, no! Poor baby - and poor you!
oh the joys...
Fun memories. We've been there and done that. Imagine even more and in the bed/carpet/toys. It was terrible. I'm thankful most of this house has tile floors :)
Ah, eggnog. I remember drinking an entire quart at one time of that stuff as a kid. My parents were not happy with me. Something about 1500 calories in liquids alone didn't sit well. I managed to keep it all down though.
Hope Doodle at least felt better after getting it back up.
this is funny, scary, sad and frustrating all in one! feelin' for you today T. :)
Oh, I hope she feels better now... Spud, who's also 3, is always perfectly happy after a good puke.
My first thoughts were:
- thank goodness she mostly missed the carpet.
- wow, that's some good distance!
Honestly, it gets to a point where you have to just laugh (and post) about it. Can't say I have any pictures of throw-up, but I do have pictures of Spud's blowouts as a baby... :p
Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
LOL
I'm so gonna pay for laughing at all of y'all when (IF!) I ever have kids.
LOL...damn egg nog.
Hahaha! I'm so thankful I am so over that stage of motherhood. Poor doodle =(
eeewwwww.
Thank goodness I spared everyone the photo of LBM's first poopy in the potty last night. I think one post with bodily fluids is enough for one day!
...I will remember the baking soda for throw ups now. Kitty litter works well too.
Funny, tummy aches have been a theme around here!
Hope you got your run in - have a great rest of your Monday!!!
Glad mine can at least get to the bathroom in time now! Haha! And I always used to think it would be terrible cleaning up your kids puke. It's not that bad.
ewwwwww...
Ewww..I hate throw-up!
Don't you have a dog? Ours would have totally cleaned that up.
Surprisingly that didn't bug me! Now if it was a picture of my dog's latest pile of vomit? Well, let's just say I'd be adding to it! Whatever will I do when I have my own child and have to deal with that myself??
