This morning, I packed up my three children (who weigh in at 103 pounds) and loaded them in my very heavy triple stroller (another 38 pounds) for a short run. We went two miles. My arms hurt more than my legs. I can not imagine having to do that on a daily basis.
But then I thought about it. That stroller weighed in at 141 pounds. That's only 9 pounds less than I weigh. So, shouldn't I get to double count those miles? Or even better, quadruple those miles? I mean, I was solely responsible for moving four people two miles. Makes sense, right?

WOW!!! I did a 9 mile run with my 2 girls once, weighing in at around 80 pounds and I was sore for the entire week. It is crazy how hard it is to push those kiddos and then there are moms who do it all the time and FAST!
Good job, I ran once with my daughter in the jogging stroller and I will never do that again. Talk about tough, you deserve a medal for that.
At least double it! Wow, 141 pounds is A LOT to push! Combined weight training and cardio-Awesome!!
Wow...what a good workout! I think it definitely counts for more :)
WOWSERS -- GREAT JOB!!! I couldnt' do that with my two. Mine rock back and forth (front to back) and make the movement worse than anything and my little guy drags his feet under the wheel. Keep it up, mama!
That totally should count as 4 miles minimum! The things you do to get your runs in are amazing :)
You can count that run as 3x the distance for sure!! I am not almost always pusing the jogger on my training runs BUT I only push one little guy. Stroller and kiddo about 55 lbs...I thought I was tough??? You are the rock star of joggie stroller training!
