It's simple. Grab your camera before your next run. Take a pre-run photo of yourself. Then take one photo of whatever is directly in front of you at the end of each mile (I snapped one every time my Garmin beeped). And then, when you are done, take a post-run photo of yourself.
I'll go first. My figure eight course took me through four different towns along the way. Here's what I saw at each mile marker ...
Pre-Run
Mile 1
Mile 2
Mile 3
Mile 4
Mile 5
Mile 6
Mile 7
Mile 8
Post-Run
So, what do you see on your run?

What a fun idea! I'm confined to elliptical right now or I'd do it too. Looks like a pretty route.
Looks like an awesome place to run! I love picture-run challenges like that =)
Neat idea! I'll have to try it some time.
Mile 4 is so pretty! I love to run by the water :-)
I always like looking at pics of people's runs. I am heading out soon for maybe one of two runs today and I will certainly be taking photos as I will be running in Garden Of the Gods! Woo Hoo!
ughh, i wish i had new things to look at on my regular weekday runs. my neighborhood is a 1 mile loop so im stuck looking at the same ol boring houses over and over and over and over.......the country road outside my neighborhod is too busy to venture out on. i do get the pleasure of a trail run once a week to break up the boredom :)
Great idea to take pics every mile! Hmm...this course is looking awfully familiar :)
This is a great idea....i forget my camera everytime...Wish I had had it yesterday as there was some awesome nature shots I could have had....
Fun idea. I think I'll do this on my long run coming up on Saturday. I actually just asked a question on my blog about photos on the run...I wanted to know if people ran with their camera or how they got the photos. Looked like a beautiful day for a run!
Cool idea! I grabbed my cell and went out for 3 to take some pics...here is the link to my post:

Great idea! I'll have to add my favorite route in ... it's gorgeous, especially at sunrise when I'm usually pounding the pavement. ;) Thanks for sharing!!
What a fun idea! I hate running with a camera but I'll see if I can manage one day this week. Thanks for sharing! Looks like a nice route.
How fun! Definitely going to do this! You should add one more thing... what was your favorite mile?
I am still kicking myself for not carrying my camera during the race. The views were unbelieveable!! The worry over a few extra ounces, grrrr.
Once I get my legs back to doing any distance (today I struggled with 2!!) I will join your photo run. Great idea.
