I already have to ask - are you switching outfits at each transition?! I see a bathing suit AND the skirt/shirt combo.

Have fun in TX!

I can not even imagine pulling an event like this together. You and your family are inspiring. I'm nervous for you so you stay calm and cool. Then kill it!

Can't wait to hear all about it!

I hope you are not changing clothes or plan on changing clothes because there are no tents in a 70.3 to change in. You should race in the tri kit from Tough Chik from beginning to end otherwise you will lose a lot of time running to the porto to swap out clothes.

Have you planned your trip to the grocery store to get 'your' food that you need? Food that you have eaten before every big training day, food for after?

Make yourself as comfortable as possible by getting the 'you' needs taken care of in terms of food and drink if you cannot pack it and take with you.

YOU GOT THIS!

Going back through this:

Sunglasses
Race Belt
Towel or Mat for transition
Mini-Cooler to keep your running drink cold

That is a ton of gear. Have a great time!!

Yep - that looks about right. Triathlon takes OCD to a whole new level :)

I say just strip down next to your bike. Give the folks a show...what the heck? You only live once ;-)

That pile of stuff makes my duffel bag from HTC look like a coin purse!

Have a GREAT race, T!!!!

Looks like you got it!! Dot forget a towel! Comes in handy for your feet. And I agree with JAson, you'll want to wear the same thing throughout. I've raced in a swim suit but once I got my actual tri gear NEVER AGAIN. =) Just rubs and isn't quite as comfy as a combo designed for you to swim, bike and run in.

OH and just a lesson I learned the HARD way, an extra pair of goggles. My head strap broke as I was in the water waiting to go...not fun to swim a mile with contacts and no goggles.

Oh I'm sure you have butt paste or something like that? Bodyglide didn't quite cut it for me in my lady parts after the swim, if you know what I mean. Ahem ahem.....

You got this!! I can't wait!!!!!

CAnnot wait to read all about this!

I was looking for a picture of the Cherry Blossom race for my blog and one came up with you in it!

Packing for tris is crazy. And if you are OCD like me it's the absolute best checking off all those boxes. Not sure I see body glide, waterproof sunblock, chamoix cream, or a visor/ sunnies in the pile : ) Enjoy every moment. You earned it!
