But, no worries. Doodle had a rebuttal. Her Thankgiving Feast is scheduled for today. And they get to put on a show too. Dizzle was instantly jealous. She knows how much fun an ACP Thanksgiving is (heck, she was part of the last two ACP Thanksgivings). She even asked me to take her out of school so that she could come with us. Finally, Doodle had one-upped Dizzle.
Or so we thought. Because yesterday at 4 p.m., Doodle looked like this. (Look away if you have a weak stomach ...)
Yes, you guessed it.PINKEYE
Fan-freaking-tastic! Now, we have to miss her Thanksgiving Feast, Dizzle is no longer jealous and I have to deal with an angry three-year old (and if you've met Doodle, you know this is bad).
But, you know what? Even with a fresh batch of pinkeye attacking my house, I am thankful. Because if nothing else, Doodle's illness saved me from the 1,200+ calories I probably would have eaten this morning ...

The "indian princesses and princes" are super cute! The pinkeye is a little less cute. Way to look on the bright side!
ohhhh nooooo!!!! Pinkeye is the worst. I swear when Siri and Ben were in Preschool we had it every week to the point that Trav and I were getting it. Poor sweetie:(
Yikes! I hate pink eye! All you have to do is mention that someone in a 5 mile radius of me has it and the next morning I wake up with pink eye. Hope Doodle feels good soon and crusties are on their way out of your house :)
okay i seriously love that despite the fact that your child's eyes are oozing with goop...she still has that trademark Doodle smile on her face

Poor thing! I hate it when they wake up and their eyes are glued together. At least it doesn't usually last long.

Oh no - pinkeye! Hope no one else gets it. Such a pain to have to deal with that. At least it usually clears up fairly quickly. :)

Very cute she was excited to eat off a tray! We didn't have a cafeteria hot lunch at my school growing up either. When I got to college, it was cool for about two weeks! Hahaha!
