Four months down, eight to go. Here's my recap of April 2010 ...
Miles Planned/Ran: 115/122.3 (highest mileage in 2010)
Rest Days Planned/Taken: 10/11
Highest Mileage Week: 4/12-4/18: 40 miles (an all-time weekly mileage record!)
Long Runs Planned/Run: 4/4
Donuts Earned: 82.11 (my favorite statistic over at Dailymile)
Current Book: Does my coaching textbook count?
Current Shame-Inducing Guilty Pleasure: Sugar. I am constantly craving something sweet. Why can't I just crave carrots?
Current Colors: White - Crisp. Clean. Simple.
Current Obsessions: My new Keens. I won them a few weeks back from Run Like A Mother. They are super cute and comfortable. Want to see them?
Current Drink: V8 with LOTS of hot sauce in it!
Current Song: Follow Me Down - 3OH!3
Current Need: 1:59:59. May 8th is my next attempt at a sub-two hour half marathon. I NEED to hit that time (for my sanity, if nothing else). And I plan to drag Katye along with me.
Current Triumph: I have two. First, passing by coaching certification. And second, self restraint. If you read my March recap, you know that I lacked all forms of self restraint last month. I'm back on track now. I'm eating better. I'm working out more. And I'm running at prescriped paces, which is a true test of self restraint.
Current Bane of My Existence: P90X. How can I LOVE you and HATE you so much?
Current Goal: Get Half Fanatics status. I'm going to do this with half marathons two weekends in a row. First, I am going break two hours in next Saturday's race. Then eight days later, I am pacing J in his first half!
Current Indulgence: Chobani Greek Yogurt (yes, I realize that this is a healthy indulgence). I LOVE THIS STUFF. So yummy. I could eat my weight in it.
Current Blessing: Life in general. I have nothing to complain about and that is a blessing in itself.

You have had a fantastic month, congrats!
Congrats on another great month!! Good luck going sub-2! You will do great! :-)
BTW, what time do you get up and post, girly?? You have always just posted when I get up or am just getting at work ... even on weekends!!!
Good luck on the 1:59! I know you can do it!!! I got my half fanatics status at the MC historic half last year. It's got two wicked hills near the end, but overall a good course. Have fun!
Congrats on a great month...I agree with the Chobani indulgence...it is healthy but a bit pricey! I can't give it up though :)
Good luck on the half!
I have prob. 6-7 pairs of Keens. I LOVE them. I don't have the ones you have. I LOVE Those, may need them.
I love the layout of this post!
Awesome job with all your mileage! :)
Oh, sugar...It seems like I'm always craving something sweet..uh!
Love you new keens! My husband has a pair and he wears them all of the time!
I have yet to try Greek Yogurt but everyone seems to love it! I may have to break down and get some!
Good luck with your 1/2! You WILL break the 2hr. mark! :)
awesome job this month! Here's to a fabulous May :)
I have read that sugar cravings are your body needing more protein. Not sure if its a valid point or not. I should eventually look into it since I crave sugar all the time too!
Sounds like an awesome month! I can't believe May is here already.
Great recap! Sounds like it was a successful month.
Now go get that sub-2 in May. It's IN you!!
Congrats on accomplishing your goals!
Do you actually drink V8 and hot sauce....ewwww! ;)
Great recap! Congrats on your mileage! AWESOME.
I would love to know what you think of your keens. How is the fit? Would they be good for walking around WDW??
Awesome month!
I've never heard of V8 with hot sauce in it. What kind of hot sauce do you use? It sounds fun.
Great month!
I thought of you today. Hibbett Sports had some really cute long running socks. I almost bought some, but it's hotter than hades here right now and I figured I'd wait till the fall.
Great Job this month!!!
I will say I HATE yogurt, but I actually like the CHobani stuff and that is saying A LOT~
LOVE your April stats, and your very pretty new Keen's. :)
What an AWESOME month! You really inspire me to do better. :)
Oh, PS...You're TOTALLY going to ROCK that half. I bet you'll surprise yourself and be way under 2 hours.
I love those shoes! And I love the Chobani greek yogurt, too!! So yummy.
Playing a little catch up when I should be sleeping.
Great post. I love your monthly recaps.
One thing I found funny..." I'm working out more. ..." You don't say? Running like a crazy person, full blown P90X, walking all over amusement parks with the kids...
I love the Half Fanatics! Good Luck. You will sub 2 hrs no problem!
