pancake flat ...

I have mentioned it before. But in case you missed it, I have no chest. I am pancake flat. Once, I went into Victoria's Secret and they told me that they didn't carry my size. When I was pregnant (and nursing) I was slightly more "blessed." But quickly after weaning Dilly, it was back to the status quo.

Recently, Dizzle has become more body aware. She is noting difference in people and is quite interested in why we are the way we are. Yesterday, (while sitting on my stomach) she looked down and said to me, "Mommy, did you have your boobies taken off?" I nearly choked from laughing so hard.

Once I could contain myself, I simply replied, "No, Dizzle. But now that I don't feed Dilly anymore, they don't need to be so big," But really, I wanted to give it to her straight and tell her that she and her sisters had sucked the life out of me. But I thought that might be too harsh.

hahahaha! That is too funny , sucked the life outa you. I have often thought that about my boys. I went from a B to DD and back down to a B and I am still nursing the youngest a couple times a day. I think I will be an A when I wean. It was nice when they were ginormous but I prefer my chest now. less to jiggle when I run.

Oh girl... LMAO! That's so going to be me in a few years and I'm already a card carrying member of the IBTC.

On the plus side I tested out a new sports bra today that I think I like, I'm going to give it a long run test before I approve it but will let you know! :)

Oh that was so funny and honest! Who has nursed and doesn't have one of those stories!?!? Priceless.

As my own lastest breastfeeding journey is beginning to slow down, I am reminded that the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. I just never realize that passage was referring to my chest too! ;-)

(funny my verification word is "takerful")

You are too funny - love it!
I have to say, I was an A and lifelong member of the IBTC but that was cured with 10 days off running and a fantastic surgeon...now a D and no jiggling when I run! As my blog states, best thing I ever did for myself.

I went for a mammogram and the tech lady actually laughed at me as she went and got the special plate for girls with little, well girls!
Gotta love little ones: both kids and the other kind! Hilarious!

HAHAHAHA i had a similar experience with my 3 year old goddaughter. her mother,my mom's best friend, has a rather large chest (by large i mean DD+) and my mom has a decent chest as well (apparently the genes skipped me). so one day the little one says "mommy, you and kara (my mom) have big boobies, but Katye (me) has little ones like me" yep. the three year old compared my chest to her own.

Hilarious! I, too, have little to no boobage. Size 38D while prego and now a 34A. And let me tell you (actually, sounds like you already know) after breastfeeding, that's not a perky 34A it's a sad, fleshy 34A. :( I feel ya, girl!

By the way, I saw your comment on Tall Mom's post. I haven't seen your before and after. Do share. I'm thinking of posting my weight loss journey soon.
