There are just 10 days until the Disney Princess Half Marathon!! Taper is in full swing. I have one more four miler and four more three milers before the race. And we leave on Tuesday night. I.CAN.NOT.WAIT!!
And the three things for today are ...
1. DILLY IS WALKING!! Holy cow! This means I now have three children who can all run off in different directions upon arrival. Fantastic! I am so never going anywhere ever again. (Note: I will still be going to Disney. We will have a third adult on our trip. There will be no zone coverage going on here. It's all man on man.)
2. My new king bed is GLORIOUS! Best night of sleep I have had in a long time. I actually woke up refreshed. I'm kind of wondering why J (who is 6'7 and built like a linebacker) and I suffered on a rock hard queen for the last 6 years ...
3. I am running with G in her comeback race on Sunday - the Huguenot 3 Miler. OK, I probably won't run "WITH" her since I don't have a 3 mile PR (and I'd like a fast one!). But I will stand with her at the start and cheer for her at the finish! And speaking of races, G and I are running the Marine Corps Crossroads 17.75K on June 12th. The race is in Manassas, VA. And we were thinking it would be the perfect opportunity for a bloggy meetup. So if you live in the DC area, or want to drive/fly/run in for the race, check out the link above and let me know if you are interested. We'd love to run with you!
Happy Thursday!

FIRST!
I want a king bed so badly... hubs and I sleep so well in hotel with huuuge beds. Maybe one day. :)
Have fun cheering at the race this weekend!
17.75K, what a strange race distance!
Yay Dilly!
Yay for the King!
Your princess 1/2 will be here before you know it!
I love that you have so many races coming up!
I have to say how lovely it is to see the photo at the top of your blog! We are getting nailed with snow today, and I'm at the point where I'm thinking enough already!
1. That's why I only have two kids. ;o)
2. If we put a king sized bed in our room, it would pretty much reach from wall to wall. Gotta love a house built in 1939.
3. I'd love to join you for that race, but I'm currently slated to run the Hatfield and McCoy half marathon that day. If it sells out before I commit and the Marine Corps one changes, I may come down. I'll keep it on the radar. Of course, you could always come up here and run a race with me. ;o)
I don't know how you survived on a queen with kids AND a husband! :) I love my king bed! I don't have touch my hubbs all night and sleep like a baby!!!
Good luck on Saturday!
Hubby and I LOVE LOVE LOVE our king bed. Oh Queen, why did we ever suffer through that??
10 days Woot!!
Go speedy go!!
Yeah for a new bed! I have been bugging my husband for a new one too...I am working on it. :) That race sounds like fun....wished I lived closer!
have a great race this weekend!!! king beds are THE BEST :)
1. SO exciting! For me, walking was better than crawling because at least she wasn't down on the ground with gawd knows what.
2. OMG I am so jealous! Enough said. ;)
3. Sounds like fun! Wish I was closer so I could join in.
I am only 5'2 but I could never in a million years sleep on anything but our king bed!! Even though I am that short Hubby still proclaims that I manage to take up the whole bed :)
I would love to meet you guys at he Marine corps run, but that is a lot of miles for me!! I might be able to come and cheer you on though we will have to see where I am at that point!
LOL@ Man on man!
I cant wait to read your recap on the Disney Half! I have heard these are really fun races...
Congrats on the little one walking! Im sure they will keep you running after them!
left ya a little something to do on my blog =)
Yay for Dilly!! 3 kids walking can present quite an interesting experience...I am a total advocate of leashes...yes I put my kid on a leash. In my defense it is disguised as a cute monkey backpack...
I'm excited about your Princess Half!! I may do it next year!!
The princess half is going to be so much fun!!!!
I'm 6'3 and I had a twin bed until I bought a queen, WOW what a difference. If I had to share I'd go bigger still.
I love that you have so many races coming up!
Work From Home
Can't wait for Disney!! See ya very soon! Yeah Yeah Yeah!! I hope that you and your family have a fantabulous time at the parks -- man-on-man (LOL!)
Have fun at Disney! My third should be walking soon, as he is coming up on 13 months. He wants to, but just can't seem to stay standing unassisted too long.
