P90X check in ...

So, I am officially done with phase one of P90X. And now it's time for a status report. Well, I will admit that during the first week, I didn't think I was going to make it the whole 90 days. It was hard. I was sore. And it made running REALLY uncomfortable.

But, as the first month passed, I found myself getting stronger, more flexible and toned. Which was enough to keep me motivated, even excited to continue. And now, 28 days in, I psyched about my progress. Take a look at the numbers

Weight - Day 1: 152, Day 28: 151.5
Body Fat Percentage - Day 1: 23%, Day 28: 21%
Waist - Day 1: 30 3/4", Day 28: 30"
Chest - Day 1: 35 1/2", Day 28: 34 1/2"
Hips - Day 1: 37", Day 28: 36"
Right Thigh - Day 1: 22", Day 28: 21 3/4"
Left Thigh - Day 1: 22", Day 28: 21 3/4"
Right Arm - Day 1: 11 1/2", Day 28: 11 1/4"
Left Arm - Day 1: 11 1/2", Day 28: 11 1/2"

Total Loss: .5 lbs, 2% body fat, 3 1/2"

And the photographic evidence (Day 1 followed by Day 28) ...

Wow, you really can see a difference- great job :).

I was actually thinking about trying P90x but was wondering if it might be too difficult for me right now (still trying to get IN shape)- would you recommend this to someone who has only been working out for a few months and has a good chunk of excess weight to lose?

impressive results for 28 days :)

Visiting here from It's Life, Max It Out and I'm so glad I did. Great stuff here!

I am mom on the run also, but it's been awhile since I actually ran due to being preggers with Baby #3. I was wogging for a bit, but now my body just can't handle it and my doctors advised me to stop for a little while. I miss it though.:-(

I am chomping at the bit to try P90x program after I drop this baby. It seems like a great way to strength train, especially for runners like us. You look amazing! WTG, mama!

I'm adding you to my Running Blog list. :-)

Holy Abs Batman! You look awesome! I mean, you looked HOT before, but I love the abs! That's my dream!
I'm doing old crunches and reg ab work with a giant ball thingy and I hate that everyday I have to do more to get the burn! Do you find that with the P90X?
