Over the past few weeks, Dilly has become quite the kleptomaniac. We first noticed this behavior when we moved our sofas and found piles of toys thrown behind it and shoved into the cushions. Although didn't need confirmation that it was her, she did fess up to the crime.
Recently, Dilly has become a bit more bold with her klepto ways. Occasionally, she'll grab her sister's Nalgene bottle and ditch it in a random place. On Monday, she stole Dizzle's teddy bear and she tried to throw it in the trash can (I caught her as she was putting it in). And on Wednesday, when no one was paying attention, she took Doodle's pajamas and threw them away. We only realized this later when Doodle put something in the trash and noticed her monkey shirt in the bag.
Wanting to know what Dilly was thinking, I sat her down and asked. And I filmed it. Kind of like our own little NCIS investigation ...
And that cuteness is why she gets away with murder ...
Oh my goodness....but she is so cute! (good thing, right?)
So cute...it really is hard to be too mad!
HOLY STINKING CUTENESS!!
Those pigtails. That laugh. Those responses. TOO FREAKING CUTE!
I often say that it is a good thing that my Samuel is so cute because he is trouble. She is adorable!
Omg, how can you punish that face?? She's so freaking cute.
seriously...all your children have those little angelic faces! This is hilarious!
She's so lucky she's in pigtails. This won't fly when she's 10, haha.
Glad my kids aren't the only ones who don't pay attention when getting in trouble LOL.
That. is tooo funny. and I LOVE that I hear can hear smiling while you are asking the question. And I LOVE LOVE that the girls are laughing....and she's like...er yeah Mum I'm all done with this....lol...made my day.
Freaking cute! Makes you wonder if she threw away anything else...
Yep, she's really cute!
My daughter apparently threw out a box of hair accessories. I asked her where she hid them and she said "in the garbage". Of course garbage day was yesterday...
It's hard for an iron fist not to soften against that level of cuteness!
S'ghetti used to steal money from her dad when he'd empty his pockets on the table. She'd only take the coins. When caught she said she took it because she didn't think daddy wanted to make all that noise.
Unrelated to this post: I wanted to thank you for putting your fastanista self out there. This morning i was running on the tready in a skirt with my new rainbow compression socks and I felt strong, confident and pretty - even with my field hockey quads. I've always known I'm a runner, but never felt like I had a runner's bod - lithe, thin, waifish. However, I realized this morning that my perspective has changed from reading your blog, and that strong and healthy is a great look. Thank you for showing me that.
She looks so innocent... :)
