Love it! I lost my dad 20 years ago this month and I'd love something like this. I have a wrist tattoo and it's my favorite bc I can see it all the time.

I saw this last week and couldn't comment through the tears. I'm tearing up again, but can thankfully comment. I love this, T! What a beautiful, beautiful thing!

I completely missed this post so I'm glad you linked it up in today's. That is a beautiful tribute.

But I have to confess, at first glance I read it as: Forever in my helmet. Also appropriate. :)

This is so amazing. I just stumbled on your blog within the last week...I've taken up running again (first time since high school) with the goal of running a half marathon in October in memory of my dad, who died April 12. Anyway, I LOVE this idea and may have to consider a way to make something like this my next tattoo. I have one tattoo that I got the day I turned 18 and I always said that I wouldn't get another one unless something really spoke to me. I love my dad's handwriting (don't we all) and have lots of handwritten notes from him...may have to look into something like this, just have to figure out where to put it! Many hugs to you...I am only about 6 weeks out from his death and in some ways, it comforts me to know that the pain won't go away...that sounds weird and almost masochistic to say, but I don't ever want to not miss him.
