Remember how I told you all I was feeling under the weather? And how I was going wait until Saturday to run? Well, shocker, shocker. That didn't happen. My mom and aunt are in town today and I just wasn't able to pass up the opportunity for a kid-free morning run (and music-free since my iPod was dead - FAIL). Plus, it was like 60 degrees and I was super psyched to test out the Sweaty Bands I received in the mail earlier this week (expect a full review and perhaps a giveaway in the future ...)
So, I put Dilly down for a nap. Got dressed. Look at this spiffy number I put together (the socks are from Little MissMatched picked up in Disney).
I planned on taking my Newtons out for four easy miles. Mile 1 was not so easy. My legs were golden, but I could only make it a few strides before I was hacking up a lung. I considered turning back, but you know me, that wasn't going to happen. So, I trekked on. Eventually, the coughs were farther apart, but they never stopped. And when I ended my run ... well, that was even worse. Let's just say it might not have been the best idea I have ever had ...
(but, in case you were wondering, I still finished the 4 miles in 35:57, 8:59 pace)

I,m pretty sure if you kept going, either: A)then your cough wasn't that bad or B) you were being a stubborn runner! I'm gonna go for a little of each! Love the socks! ;)
Ok, so you are still fast when you are hacking up a lung. If I get coughing, i have to stop or I'll pee myself...
I'm sensing a not-so-good, coughing up a lung theme around here lately. Feel better. Love the ensemble!
Cute outfit. Can't wait to hear about the sweaty bands. I checked out the website. They look cute!
Anyway, that run was totally not a fail! Maybe not the best idea...but not a fail. :) Have a great weekend!
Nice run and GREAT outfit! I *loved* the MissMatched store at Disney but they were all out of adult knee socks. SAD!
Sorry you still aren't feeling 100% but you look super cute ;)
You look super cute. Super leg muscles as well. I am hoping to SEE my leg muscles one day soon.
Take care of yourself!
Love the socks!! So cute!
I ran a 5k last Saturday with a nasty cough left-over from a cold, bad idea. I'm now on a trio of meds after finally seeing my doctor for shortness of breath this week. He also put me on a running-hiatus until Monday. Stupid coughing. Gets in the way of my running.
Feel better!
Lose that cough!
Wow - holy hacking fastness! You rocked despite the sickness!
I agree with Allie - you look super cute. :)
Kiddo, your outfits are rockin' it and you are so darn cute! I LOVE your socks. So I found a pair at Target for St. Patty's day and they'd look so cute with the R.G.Skirts...the green plain one. You're outfits inspire! I hope you're feeling better this weekend.
You look adorable! You are so speedy...even with crappy lungs...wow.
You look fabulous, TMB! Love the socks! And man, those Newtons love to run, huh? Makes you want to go fast! :) Feel better soon.
love the outfit! check my blog soon...I'm about to set up my running skirts giveaway =)
PS. I would love to read a post about how your little ones got their nick names =)
Hope you feel better soon!
That outfit rocks my socks! Very groovy :)
Cute outfit! Feel better soon.
I only wish I were that fast when I was coughing up a lung! Way to go!
oh my you look so cute! and you are super fast considering you are not feeling so hot!
Super cute!!!
Love, love the socks!
And I am in the same boat as you! When I stop running it's even worse! I cough and chock for about 10 mins! Feel better!
Cute outfit!
You kinda need those lungs to run. So don't cough them up. I know for experince! I ran a marathon with pneumonia it was hard...and I went to the doctor after the race.
